    Fabulous

The hotel was very impressive on first sight. The staff were very help and went above and beyond what was asked of them and always with a smile. Although our room overlooked the front of the hotel and the car park, it was extremely quiet.

The only criticism was the lack of air conditioning. Other than that my stay was perfect.

    Very good

The wonderful view of the river from the dining room.

Wi-fi connection was intermittently weak at night.

Beautiful view of the Thanes from the dining room. Great base for the rugby at Twickenham.

    Friendly staff, comfortable

Needs a business centre. Breakfast ends to early - 9H30? Should be until 10h00 or 10h30

Fantastic view, comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast - close to restaurants and village but yet rural.

    Very good

I basically only used my room as somewhere to sleep,as in the day and evening I was at my god-daughter's wedding, and the reception in Ham. Consequently don't really know how to judge the hotel

No air-conditioning, and the window couldn't be opened very much because of it's type so the room was stuffy.

I thought the whole experience from the second we arrived to the second we left was absolutely wonderful! The hotel staff were friendly and they very kindly offered an upgrade. We had no reason to expect that and they didn't need to do that but it was so appreciated after our long journey! The room service was lovely and well priced- even the scones were warm and home made! Will definitely stay here again- thanks to Booked.net for finding this great offer. Boo

I enjoyed the stay immensely. The proximity tot he Nursery was the principal reason for choosing the site but I was pleasantly surprised. the didning room and dinner were both first class

    Very good

Although traditional the rooms are very well thought out and extremely practical and comfortable. The concierge staff were extremely pleasant. A great location with fabulous views

The hotel lacked a comfortable lounge with external views. It felt as if the restaurant was run by a separate business and more orientated to external guests. I had a disappointing experience with the restaurant manager but it was on only one occasion.

I came to Richmond to help get my daughter settled in at the university. My stay at The Petersham was beyond expectations. Obviously the facilities are charming and very relaxing. It is the dinning room, the chef and his staff made my stay delicious and delightful. I hope my daughter stays at the university all four years just so I can have an excuse to visit the Petersham again and again!

We have stayed at the Petersham before and on each occasion we have had the most enjoyable stay. The bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped and the restaurant is one of the most beautiful rooms we have eaten in, with a wonderful view over the river Thames, and a top class menu. However what makes the Petersham Hotel so special are the excellent staff who all helped to make our stay so memorable. We would like to thank them, and we cannot wait to come back again.

    Superb

A beautiful and gracious Victorian hotel, a short walk from the banks of the River Thames and an easy walk to Richmond centre. Also very close to the gate for Richmond Park. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Plus got a good deal through Booked.net.

Breakfast was expensive at £14 a head. If you fancy spending less, then a short walk down to Richmond offers a selection of diverse cafes and cafe culture is plentiful in Richmond and Kew.

    Superb

The staff were good: well-trained and experienced and they were willing, polite and knowledgeable.

Overall we liked it very much. However, our few negatives were that the room was a bit small, the shower-over-bath was difficult( on the round of a bath and quite a hard climb out) and it felt a bit dated,

    Superb

Loverly hotel with excellent service and a good menu. Food was well cooked and nicely presented with a beautiful view from the restaurant.

The room that we had was a little small and too warm with no thermostat or air-conditioning to cool it down.
